Monster Fixes »

  • Zombie_Soldier: If you freeze it in that moment, when it’s got no head starts spinning around its axis, holding a sword, and did not shoot him, after defrosting, it will start to behave like a normal monster, only without the head, and then a few seconds dies, but in fact, after defrosting it should continue to spin. Black Tarot Cards Fixes »

  • Dexterity: Card no longer accelerates animations “idle” and “walk”. Author: TranZit.
  • Greed: Now player counts the double gold on board of the placement of Black Tarot. Author: Havcom.
  • Double Time Bonus: Now the card is working. Author: Sviatoslav.
  • Rebirth: Added the correct big image card. Authors: Painkiller-Ivan, Jourgensen. (Fix from patch 1.61!)
  • 666 Ammo: Ammo no reset in the maximum when picking up ammo boxes. Author: Havcom.
  • Health Stealer:
    1) If player steals health by killing a monster at a time when his health is more than the mark of 250, health is no longer reset back to 250. Author: TranZit.
    2) The player can no longer steal the health of those monsters that are not counted in the game statistics, which are mainly used as scenery, and also at the bosses. Author: TranZit.
  • Fixed a bug due to which it was possible to use cards of the Tarot of the addon in the original campaign. Authors: Jourgensen, TranZit.

Shaders Fixes »

  • Fixed disappearing of frosty/bloody shader from monster, if you freeze/break it, and then load the save. Author: TranZit.
  • Fixed a bug with the bloody shader from the monster: if you freeze it, then break (or break it first and then freeze), break and then frozen, after defrosting the bloody shader will disappear from monster. Author: TranZit.

Other Fixes »

  • Now fallen into the water objects are counted in the statistics. Author: Havcom.
  • Added in menu a track called “menu”, located in the folder Music, but never played. Authors: TranZit, Havcom.
  • Added file config.ini for language switch: allows you to change the language in the game. Author: Kalme. (English text is the default!)
  • Added NoDVD to the game. Author: Painkiller-Ivan.
  • Normalized speed of movement of the player by combining Tarot card Speed and retarding effect of a monster DevilMonk_Slowdown or a monster Panzer_Demon: speed sometimes could be configured incorrectly. Author: TranZit.
  • Fixed unreadable coordinates of the position of ammo: when taking some of them in the game, there could be errors, both in a singleplayer and in multiplayer, as well as in two benchmarks (C5L1_Benchmark and C5L2_Benchmark). Author: Painkiller-Ivan.

How to Install:
Unpack the archive in the game folder with the subsequent replacement of files. This patch installs over the version 1.5 or 1.64 for Black Edition (DVD or Steam).

    Would it be possible to maybe add the FPS Limiter script option from Atom0s and the HUD Widescreen fix from Lemmers? Those are both amazing fixes. But they probably dont work with the unofficial patch since they overwrite same files?

      Peter, it is possible to integrate, even though identical files that can contain almost the same text, but with some differences. And the names of the authors that you mentioned above, unknown to me, but I can help you to combine two amazing fix. 🙂

        Those are the mods/fixes. I personally love them and couldn’t play without them anymore. Sadly they seem to be incompatible with your patch.
        Would be cool if you could make a combined patch or maybe add them to a future version.

          Hm. Well, I personally don’t have the skills.
          Maybe someone else?

          For me those are not third party mods since they pretty much fix but also improve the game. The default ingame fov is totally broken, just like viewing angle and 16:9 objects. This lemmers hud mod totally fixes and improves everything. And the FPS limiter mod is great because as we all know the game is pretty picky about FPS. If they are too low, the game runs too slow, if they are too high, Physics bug out (Bridge). Vsync is also not really helpful since it usually limits to 60 FPS and its hard as fuck being able to limit to a specifc FPS rate like 120 – 200. This mod made it possible though by adding a way to limit the FPS in the engine. I personally couldn’t play without either of those and I always use them. Your Unofficial Patch is great too and I would like to use it too but its not possible. Also because of the complicated way they edit scripts, I am totally helpless.

          First need to get permission from Lemmers before posting here so as not to violate copyright. It is the right step. Atom0s personally approved my proposal; so one problem less.       The mistake was that, choosing the left or right path, instead of two, only one wave of monsters appeared (I emphasize: there should be simultaneous appearance of monsters from the left and right side!). For this reason it was impossible to kill all the monsters or climb the steps of the stairs, where the checkpoint opens.

    hi there, i found a bug in the original game not fixed by your patch… let me explain it to you. if you take dark soul (souls required for demon soul from 66 to 50) then you play a level or more, then you switch out the dark soul tarot card… the number of soul stay 50…

    this is due to a reset silver card function in game.lua not resetting all variable… there are infact 2 variable who need a reset… here le me write down the corrected function

      People have repeatedly complained about the defect of two cards, but I saw with my own eyes only when I deleted the configuration file. Fortunately, I fixed them already in a new patch, which was released on July 30, 2017.

        Did you have time to actually add the FPS limiter from Atomos and this widescreen fix from Lemmers? I would love to use your patch but missing out on both mods is really bad. Plus I dont have the knowledge to rewrite the files to work with the patch.

          Oh, I thought that a long time ago, everyone played with the patch, in which the mods from Atomos and Lemmers are integrated. As for the addition, I replied 10 months ago that the patch is intended to fix bugs, and not to add third-party modifications. With understanding.
