Gamescom 2012 – PK:HD Hands-On and a Teaser-Trailer

Do you know for sure if this is the final level list? It would be really great if more levels per chapter were available. I’m really looking forward to play the new PK. I hope it would be as awesome as possible as the original. 🙂

E3 2012: Painkiller Hell & Damnation announced *UPDATE*

You do realize that it’s technically impossible not to save on trauma since some of the checkpoints CAN’T be skipped! And you have no other way of saving other than..checkpoints of course!
So..I suggest you stop being so gullible and think again. 🙂

I’m really excited about the game. I hope it’s gonna be great.

Ultimate Patch for Painkiller

As far as I know, GOG games are already patched to the max, so you shouldn’t need to download this.
Just reinstall your game and check your version. It should already be 1.64 .

PainEditor Basics Tutorial (singleplayer levels)

Hey! Well it’s actually quite easy.. Yes the “Close:Slab_001,8 “keeps the slab CLOSED until 8 monsters are killed and not OPEN ..therefore it does not help.

But you can place your door and leave the “Closed” parameter to “false”. Then you can use the AmbushForPlayer FIRST to launch the monster spawners, THEN add the “WaitForCorpses: 8 ” command and then add “Close:Slab_001,999”.

“WaitForCorpses: 8” postpones ANY command that is written AFTER it.. until 8 monsters are killed. Then by adding the “Close:Slab_001,999” you simply close the door. You will notice the Slab_001 will remain open until the 8 monsters are killed.

You’re welcome! I am glad I helped. Well I had a lot of help from the original levels and scripts made by Painkiller’s developers,that the games comes with. Also a very good friend of mine helped me too.
Yes well there are a more commands like this and tools to be used in PK. You’ll also get the hang of many techniques and tricks if you work more… your ideas will come a loooot easier.

Yes, like you said, I do have some experience.. but I have only been doing this for a year and a half or more.

Quick question: are you planning to publish your work?

Hey again! You’re not doing anything wrong. It’s just it does not work to launch stuff from the secret area or teleport, “Actons” tree… SImply use an AmbushForPlayer by placing it where the destination ( CArea ) is so that you will teleport INTO IT and write all your commands on that specific ambush.
Regarding the secret area you can do the same.. place an AmbushForPlayer box near the SecretArea box and use the ambush to launch anything you want.

New Painkiller Pandemonium Edition

It works with windows 8, don’t worry ! There’s is absolutely no reason to uninstall your windows.. Perhaps something went wrong when you installed your game..
For me it works.

Dynamic Lights for PK 1.64 *Updated*

Open the archive and you will find a folder named “LScripts”, open it and you will find the “Templates” folder.
Copy the entire “Templates” folder FROM THE ARCHIVE, to this path: “Painkiller_installation_folder/ Data/ LScripts”.
