Another long months of waiting for the next patch for Painkiller: Hell & Damnation , paid off with a vengeance. Finally listened to the fans and they got it, what they asked for. Besides the quite substantial changes and fixes many bugs and a few new items such as new levels, the summer gave us the most important changes, which was expected from the outset. Undoubtedly, the most important for survival on Steam is the same Steam workshop. That gives us the ability to add and exchange any mods, as amended fansites and more importantly, the new maps. Previous edition of the game was known for many of this type of fan production, and thus the latest Painkiller will become greater and greater, due to multitude of the faithful fans who want their own way to improve the game. Another important element is the ability to add dedicated servers. This means that we assume the server on its own rules and we can play like the old year to the original. Basic servers, unfortunately, were still empty due to the lack of any possible changes in the rules of the game for them. This game is finally available for the MAC.

Painkiller Hell & Damnation MegaPatch including Bonus Levels, Mac Beta, Dedicated Server & Development Kit/Workshop Support is released. See the changelog below:

Dedicated Server & Development Kit can be accessed from the Steam Client in the Tools Section

– Build is fully compatible with Windows/Linux

Tarot cards can be unlocked in coop mode too
Fixed Conclave level connection issues in online coop mode
Now, the player can’t switch to a weapon that doesn’t contain ammo
Playing in offline mode and switching between offline/online won’t be corrupting game settings/saves
Fixed sounds issues when the player is damaged by two Evil Monks
Fixed a bug where corrupted save games could cleanup player progress.
Fixed a bug where Achievement Fireproof can’t be unlocked

Fixed XBOX360 Controller issues in splitscreen co-op
Fixed a bug where The Silver Card “Divine Intervention” can be used to exploit free coins. Sound for the prohibited action added.
Fixed a bug where the boss could displayed twice for the client in the last cutscene on the “Ruins” map in coop mode.

Before it was many official servers and 0 players… now we got few new dedicated servers with some players. This is progres!
