The PK++ 1.3.1.64 Mod for Painkiller is now available for download. It is a beta version and needs to be tested out to fix the last bugs. There are a lot of new features, gamefixes and a reworked hud.

You are now able to change the hud right in the game with the quickmenu for your likes. Also there are now simple items. And much more things like a chaticon, when oppenent is writing or the new Gamemode Clan Arena, a vote GUI, a 125 fps cap for online playing and much much more things. Read the full Changelog for full details.

The Beta is intended to take about 1 month, with every week a new update.

For using “SuperHUD” or “Weapon positionning system”:
– Press 0 numpad key, select “SuperHUD” or “Weapon Positionning” with the “2, 4, 6, 8” numpad keys
– Validate your choice with the “ENTER” numpad key and press the “HOME” key for “Quick HELP”
-Then press “HOME” key and follows the instructions

You can bind the Quick menu and the validate key to your Controls menu!

    Yes! It is the Russian site based by Lash-Z and LexaR (developer painkiller resurrection). But now the site unfortunately is closed! There were very few Russian players which will play on the PK multi. 🙁

    One more question. In original PK in the menu it is possible to switch language from Russian to English. And in PK++ it is impossible! He does not wish to switch languages for some reason! Can you know as to solve this problem?

    Open with Notepad config.ini file
    Change from

       Cfg.Language = "russian"

    Overall not bad, but there are 5 problems:
    1. Nicky is not the original color, not as a version 1.2.
    2. RunAndMaintainDedicatedServer for some reason does not work, I get this error.
    3. Language in the console will not switch from Russian to English, not as a version 1.2
    4. Scoreboard at high screen resolutions lags, we ought to do something.
    5. While the Voosh would like to have included 6 and 7 weapons.

    Hi guys, i’m new to this, I was wondering if someone had the problem with bots in the mod, i have updated my game to 1.64, as soon as I add more than 1 bot, they start leaving the game. Is there a fix for this? Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!

    • Welcome Xcel,
      I think they are leaving, cause you have set /botminplayers to 1 or so.
      Open your console and type /botminplayers 4 to set the number of bots. Now they should not leave anymore.

      Some more commands for bots:
      /botskill x – Set the skill of the bots
      /kickbot n – I think the bot usually comes back after you kick it
      /kickallbots – as above
      /addbot – adds a bot
      /botattack 0/1 – determines whether a bot will attack
      /botchat 0/1 turn on /off their incessant chatter

    hello, i have the steam version of PK (1.64 of course)
    The PK++ works great BUT…
    BUT when I load PK++ 1.3 The game Dont use steam anymore !
    With previous version of PK++ it was working correctly with steam!
    I would like that when i load PK++, the game use steam, i can see how many time i played PK this week, my friend can see that i’m playing painkiller.

    I would like to know if there is something to do…
    Cause actually, pk++1.3 works like a sort of “nocd” patch :s

        i start PK:BE steam from the shortcut PK++

        when i load pk++1.2.1.64 : it loads pk++ with steam
        when i load pk++1.3 : it loads pk++ without steam anymore :s

      2. What is path in properties of the shortcut PK++1.3? Show that.

    Hum i repeat : pk++1.3 dont use steam, it worlks like a “nosteam” game, and the 1.2.1.64 version dont do that.

    I have the latest 1.64 Painkiller:BlackEdition off steam and installed the PK++1.3 and its update. But alot of the commands arent working and either arent working properly like the kick function. My bots keep leaving even after ive increased the slots, from what I can hear they just explode or get killed and leave straight away.

      If you want 2 bots write in the console:n/BotMinPlayers 3nIf you want 3 bots write in the console:n/BotMinPlayers 4nIf you want 4 bots write in the console:n/BotMinPlayers 5netc.

      • I remember having to do the same thing with Quake 3 arena, I was not thinking about including me, lol, so I had same problem. I should have recognized this.

  • This is weird. PK++ makes my menus in the original PK Italian by default. And I cannot change it back to english at all. Editing the config did nothing.

    how i can have the same simpleitems, hud, quick menu etc link in screenshots? I have tryed both pk++ and beta test but didn’t work, i don’t have this commands or options in the menu and numpad don’t work :S Please anyone help me?
