Painkiller: Redemption will be available today on steam. This game, which has just six maps but has over 6000 enemies, is priced at just $4.99. At the beginning only the single player is available. With time patches and free downloadable content will be available in the future, including of a fully functioning multiplayer and with it perhaps COOP. Certainly the earliest additions will be additional levels to play, which will provide players with a real pump of adrenaline. Not excluded are also new weapons or enemies, but this takes time. The game is created by fans with several people.

About the Game

Welcome to a world of pain. Heaven is once again in danger and threatened by a reckless army of hell spawn monsters – and they will stop at nothing. This time, only two heroes can save heaven from total destruction: Daniel and Belial, two champions from previous Painkiller stories, have to team up and put an end to the conflict in the old epic struggle between heaven and hell. Unfortunately hell’s army is even greater and stronger than before: The new general of the abyss has been endowed with powers of all the previous leaders combined, and she’s determined to see the next war through until hell’s victory. Her legions won’t back down without a long and bloody battle. Can you survive the endless attacks of nightmarish minions and terrifying fiends?

I really must say, this PK game is better than I thought. It’s really cool to see some new stuff and the gameplay is really fitting. The spawn points are are good placed, so that enemys doesen’t pop out only in front of you. That makes the game challenging. Another point is, that the new composed music really fitting is. I don’t know why…. but for me one of the most important things in any Painkiller titel is the Music. The only thing that I miss a bit is the architecture of the maps. they are a bit small but I think at least the right type of enemys is choosen for every map. To me, it’s important that the enemys and the theme of the map are getting along. And to add this…. OMG this game have a Story. It’s good to see that, because a Story strengthen the atmosphere in a game. OK, enough the talk, all in all this is a beautiful Painkiller titel and because of the nice gameplay it comes direct after the first for me. It’s amazing that this is a fan made product and a really good job overall. I have a lot of fun with it and i hope it goes on so well. Really, good job….

This mod is garbage. I could not think of the more boring way to spend time. This is NOTHING like Serious Sam. In Serious Sam you have a SHITLOAD of SPACE to move around and explore. This is the worst PK mod in history and it a great shame that it was released by Jowood. I just played PK Ordeal and it is alot better than Redemption.
