Painkiller: Hell & Damnation, the first-person shooter from The Farm 51 and Nordic Games, is now available to console owners after landing on PS3 and Xbox 360.

The Painkiller series has previously been a PC exclusive, and will serve somewhat as an antidote to those bored of the current trend of shooters.
The game will feature 14 levels, plus each console will be getting their own exclusive levels, designed specifically for that console.

Other features the game includes are:

  • Single player and co-operative campaigns spread across 4 chapters
  • PvP and PvE Multi-player modes.

“We know console users have been waiting for this day and we’re excited to be getting Painkiller out there to them,” said Nordic Games’ Reinhard Pollice.

“The console community deserved the quality that matched the polished PC version,” he continued. “So we have been working hard alongside The Farm 51 to do this. The PC version has been a huge success and we’re delighted that the demonic gameplay can now be experienced by even more people, and with controllers.”

Painkiller is a first-person shooter game released on April 12, 2004. The game takes place in Purgatory and Hell. The main character is Daniel Garner.
