TheFarm51 and Nordic Games will release a mod-kit for y’all out there to create your own interpretations of the adventures in Purgatory, as announced on the official Painkiller Website. The Painkiller Development Kit which contains mainly the mighty UnrealEd for Painkiller Hell & Damnation will soon open up for a beta phase where you can test it out and gives us feedback. With that we will also have a Steam Workshop integration.

You are invited to get creative with the Mod-Kit for Painkiller Hell & Damnation which will enable you to produce your own personal content, using the tools available in the Steam Workshop. The beta of the Mod-Kit is expected to go online early April 2013, and Nordic Games and myself are more than happy to enlist all of you, dear and able modders.

If you got what it takes, please head over to the thread on the Steam Community Hub of Painkiller Hell & Damnation:

As if this wasn’t enough there is more in the making, as the Linux and Mac gaming community will also be in for a hellish treat this spring when I finally launch myself on these platforms.

Painkiller is a first-person shooter game released on April 12, 2004. The game takes place in Purgatory and Hell. The main character is Daniel Garner.
