Direct3D problem

Submitted this to Resurrection forum:
Just bought Painkiller Collection, Painkiller, BOOH, Overdose, Redemption, Resurrection.
Installed Redemption and Resurrection.
Redemption runs fine.
Try to run Resurrection and get message
It was not possible to create the Direct3D rendering device. You may need
to reinstall DirectX and/or update drivers for your video card.
I use Windows 7 Pro, 64-bit which contains DirectX 11. I have updated the graphics drivers and
it makes no difference. DXDiag shows DirectDraw acceleration, Direct3D acceleration and AGP
Texture acceleration all enabled.
Can anyone advise ?
TIA

Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 @ 2.5GHz
6 GBytes DDR2 RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GT 220, 1Gbyte RAM
Winwos 7 Pro, 64-bit

I now have the same problem with Overdose. Cannot apply patch 84 because I am informed that it cannot find the Overdose installation.
Painkiller itself works fine.

Re: Direct3D problem

Following on, I just checked the Overdose.exe file. It says file version is 1.1.0.84. I assume that this means the
patch has already been applied.

Re: Direct3D problem

Thanks again, HV, again it seems to have done the trick.

Return to Painkiller: Overdose
