Painkiller - Light Bearer

Greetings!

A farewell project of mine for the Painkiller Black Edition is already in development. The light bearer mod is an old plan we made with HV years ago, but it was never finished. When the mappack will be released, i'm moving on to the Hell and Damnation editing, the unreal engine PDK.

After creating several projects for Amnesia - The Dark Descent i now have a deeper experience is coding, so i had the mood to resurrect the project and several chapters are planned, most levels are already playable. The project is coming this year, including at least 15 maps, a new storyline made up by cutscenes i make in the HPL level editor with script, record it, and add them as video (bik) files. Alternative ending can be reached through Trauma difficulty. A total of 9 weapons will be featured with the additional "Hellgun" and "Soul Catcher" guns.
Original gameplay and atmosphere will be kept, as usual, i'm making the music myself by remixing various tracks by bands/composers i like listening to.

NOW QUESTION...
The only issue i'm facing with is i cannot make the new SawBlade ammo type to work, and since both hellgun and soul catcher are unbinded weapons (cannot be reached via number buttons), i can only hold one of them at a time, the other cannot be accessed after picking up the second one.

Anyone who might know something about possible fixing for these issues? :roll:

Summer is over, how is your work going on?

Let me get this straight - you actually made new levels for PK Black? Forget the new weapons, just release the maps already! I can not wait to play..

already solved the issue but i lost my activity in painkiller modding quite long ago, i'm dealing with other games and modelling lately. however this last project is sure to be released someday though in final form, most likely next year. not entirely new maps as i don't have knowledge with maya at all, i convert multiplayer maps mostly into single player as i always did. i decided a demo will not be released since there are not that much content all in all, and also i don't want unstable builds to produce unwanted issues for players :) so i will say it comes next year. the only thing is sure that i will not quit and throw away the project not until i still breathe :D

If I understood you correctly, in order to switch to these weapons, you need to assign keys instead of scrolling with the mouse wheel. Am I right? I think I know the solution to this problem. I also asked this question while my colleagues suggested recipe for happiness. :)

Judging by the icon in the second screenshot of theme, depicting five stakes, this Hellgun is still shooting steel stakes, like in the Sviatoslav's mod (I think everybody knows about what speech). Why not remake the weapon under the assault rifle? 8-) There are many versions to this gun, where the cartridges can be simple and plasma.

Okey, then I have the following proposal. :D Add to your weapon the animation of pulling out of the magazine, as demonstrated in the video http://vimple.co/8fcb67c378d740daad60f92240e2b240 This animation was cut by the developers (PCF), as the weapon itself, but fortunately all returned.
