Hills – The last battle

Story:

The remaining hordes, fleeing from their punisher Daniel, are searching for shelter in the sacred lands of the Inkas. The area of Machu Picchu is their last hope. But they have a plan and are not defeated yet. They are searching the hills for Holy Items, the lost gold of the Inkas, in order to defend it with all their power and blood…

All Holy Items are needed to make Alastor’s rebirth possible. If Alastor came back, filled with the holy power of the Inka’s gold, he would be stronger than ever before and no one could stop him anymore. The whole world would go with him – to a world somewhere between heaven and hell; to a world of total evil!

Only one man has the strength to avert that disaster. Daniel Garner once again has to stop the hordes of evil. His only chance is to find all Holy Items and to kill all demons that cross his way, so he can prevent Alastor from being born again and ban him forever….

    How do i load this level? when i double click on PlayHills.exe, it just goes to Painkiller menu, where i can choose Painkiller, OR BooH, OR Big Mod, but i do not see hills anywhere…. please help

      ok, nevermind, i figured it out. i extracted the sp_hills.rar in a folder at same download folder, then i double clicked on the hills.exe file, so it installed it, right? well i dont know, probably not, or it only partially installed it because the game was not in the options menu as i previously posted. so, i searched the painkiller black installed folder, i found a LScripts-Hills-1.5.zip in the data folder. so, i copied it back to my original download folder, extracted it at SAME download folder, and then copied each individual file and / or folder that was not already in my painkiller black edition data folder, started the game from original play hills.exe that came from the initial installation, and now it works :) So, now i a going to try and play painkiller black, to make sure i didnt corrupt anything else in the game lol, wish me luck.

        well, i messed it up. now the painkiller black edition only show the menu for hills, no PK, BooH, or Big Mod. so now i guess i have to re-install everything again, :(

    You have to

    • Download SP_Hills.rar
    • Exctract SP_Hills.rar
    • Run Hills.exe
    • Install to C:\Program Files\DreamCatcher\Painkiller (there where the game is installed)
    • Use a shortcut on the Desktop

      Hi HV, thnx for responding, AGAIN !! :) You are like the PK Gaurdian Angel lol.

      Yes, that is the way i originally installed hills, as i had mentioned in my first comment about this mod (second one down from the first comment).

      My installation directory is :
      C:\Program Files\Painkiller\Painkiller Black Edition
      the play hills shortcut on my desktop had only taken me to the painkiller black edition menu, where my choices were :
      Painkiller, Booh, and The Big Mod.

      Am I supposed to load the level / game from the in-game menu?

      lol, no matter what the outcome is, i have to re-install PK, Booh, AND The Bbig Mod all over again (grrr, plus all the updates) because i tried to install it a different way, and messed things up :( it figures lol.

    You need only PK BE (PK++BOOH) and Hills. Nothing more.

    Well HV, here I am again. I have finally tried to re-install Hills mod, but of course it doesnt work.
    When I double-click on desktop shortcut (Play Hills) it just takes me to regular painkiller menu, hills is notr an option.
    When I right-click on same shortcut, in target window it states this :
    “C:Program FilesPainkillerPainkiller Black EditionBinPainkiller.exe” -lscripts hills.pak
    I searched the folders to no end, and there is no file called -lscripts hills.pack. Maybe it is missing from the download? I don’t know.
    Anyhow, to save anymore grief with this mod, I just went ahead and loaded it through command, “pmloadlevel hills”. It opened the game, and I just saved it as new game so I can access it again, lol.
    sry for bugging you so much about this mod :)

      1. Check the “Data” folder, there is file called “hills.pak”.
      2. Again change name of the “LScripts” folder to “LScripts2″ and double click on Desktop shortcut.

    Hi HV, yes, it works that way, but it eliminates other mods (Powrmad and Custom Level menu)
    I will keep working on it.

    HV !! LOL, I DID IT :) with an extreme solution

    Ok, here is what I did (you are probably gonna laugh) and it works :

    (deep breath)
    1) I copied the entire Painkiller Black Edition (LOL, it’s extreme) and renamed it to Painkiller Hills.

    2) Went into Painkiller Hills Bin, changed “Painkiller.exe” to “Hills.exe”

    3) I copied ALL the files from the LScripts-Hills-1.5 folder, each of them into the appropriate folders (Classes to Classes,HUD to HUD, and so on).

    4) I right clicked on the desktop shortcut (Play Hills), went into target window,
    and changed :
    “C:Program FilesPainkillerPainkiller Black EditionBinPainkiller.exe” -lscripts hills.pak

    to :
    “C:Program FilesPainkillerPainkiller HillsBinHills.exe” -lscripts-hills.pak

    5) Double clicked on the desktop shortcut “Play Hills” and it worked, AND I still have powermad installed in the Painkiller Hills directory, LOL !!! Of course, I have lost all the other mods like Custom Menu Loader (but I dont need it in this directory), and any other mods that I have. But that’s ok to, because they are all still in my Painkiller Black Edition directory :)
